SEO is under our skin

Relevance is the key issue when choosing the right keywords. Keep in mind that the more specific and niche the keywords, the better. When searching on mobile, there is a huge difference with desktop: Google knows exactly where you are and the results you get are customized according to your physical location. Before entering a new market, it’s crucial to do a proper market analysis and identify the opportunities and threats that you could encounter. A website redesign presents the perfect opportunity for you to analyze your backlinks and remove the shady ones. If you use Google Webmaster Tools, you’ll see a “manual penalty" appear if Google detects one of these low-quality links. You’ll then have the option to make such links “no follows" so Google stops paying attention to them. Aside from offering users the best insights possible, high-quality content goes hand in hand with your backlink profile--a key element of SEO. The more links that you amass back to your website from other authoritative websites, the greater the likelihood is of improving the visibility your website receives in search engines.

The clean URL mission

The focus on the right audience and the right content brings an understanding of the content that they’re more likely to consume. SEO can be a frustrating activity. Yesterday your website was on the first page of Google. You were delighted. Flushed with your SEO prowess, you performed the same search today and found your site was on page two – what went wrong? Has your website been pawed to pieces by a panda or pecked full of holes by a penguin? As we know that Google optimizes its results for user intent, hence, this is a way to know what content the searchers are looking for when they make a search for a keyword. Make a note of the things that you can implement in your content. The meta description is nota ranking factor, but it does play an important part in optimizing your Click Through Rate (CTR). Limit each paragraph to 2-3 sentences at most. It’s even okay to use one-sentence paragraphs if necessary, but use them sparingly or your post will look like a bullet-pointed blog without the bullets.

Talk to your customers

As opposed to general web directories, niche specific directories only accept sites that meet a certain topic criteria. For example, one directory might only accept sites about arts & crafts. Some of these directories are free, while others are paid. If your products or services are good and you have a solid marketing strategy, you will achieve both PageRank and customers. If, on the other hand, you do anything to piss Google off, you can forget about traffic coming in via search, and I wish you the best of luck! While producing incredible content may get you some links, the truth is, you are going to have to do some "link building." This means reaching out to other website owners in the space to ask for links. Search EngineOptimization (SEO) is another important strategy that helps grow your website traffic. The number of backlinks you have on your website plays a crucial role when it comes to ranking your blog on Google. Internal linking is one of the few methods we can use to tell Google (and visitors) that a particular page of content is important. So how should you go about linking internally to other pages of your website?2

Do you run A/B testing on a regular basis?

We asked an SEO Specialist, Gaz Hall, for his thoughts on the matter: "Smart content improves the effectiveness and ROI of the material produced by making itself more discoverable and consumable." It is imperative that website owners and site developers engage in user testing. Without actually measuring what users are doing when they visit a site, one can’t possibly know how a website is performing. Your homepage is the mostimportant and likely your strongest webpage. The link power (AKA link juice) is distributed from the homepage to all other subpages. Ideally, you should distribute the link juice evenly to all other subpages through internal links and easy navigation menus. Every business needs a marketingstrategy and so does a website. The best strategy to market any website is through SEO management. A natural link profile has variety. The links come from different domains and links will have different strengths.

Higher Search Engine Rankings

A 301 redirect means that the move is permanent. If you need to change the URL of a page as it is shown in search engine results, then you should use a server-side 301 redirect. Use Google’s Mobile-Friendly and Page Speed tools to ensure your website converts the most mobile visitors possible, and make it easy to contact you from the top and bottom of every page. Google may penalize specific tactics, but they will never penalize quality. If you want to promote your website by purchasing sponsored links, always use the rel nofollow attribute. There’s no other way. If Google finds that you’ve paid webmasters to build backlinks, you will end up with a hard to remove penalty. You may not have the resources to create locale sites for each country or language you want to target. In that case, add Google Translate to your site to ensure that your website visitors can see your content in their language (even if it’s not a perfect translation).

Include bios of different staff at different locations

The reason social is such a natural extension of search is that it adds both relevancy and authority. Think about this: According to Nielsen research, 92% of consumers worldwide trust recommendations from friends and family more than any form of advertising. This is up from 74% in 2007. SEO is the process of driving traffic from the ‘organic’, and ‘paid’ sources to win the rat race of ranking on search engine result pages (SERPs). If searchusers commonly misspell a keyword, you should identify and use it. Google views your site as authoritative when other sites link back to it. It doesn’t want to see a site that is spammy linking back to your site. If you try and manipulate the system, you can get hit with a Google penalty and your site won't rank at all. Users don’t like to wait, and we are becoming more and more accustomed to the fast load times, which means your site will be left in the dust when a user must wait.
